Maze Stalker
A downloadable game for Windows
Someone's stalking you. Find objects scattered around the map to get out.
Inspired by It Steals by Zeekerss, I made this in around a week from scratch, trying something unique with enemy AI and such.
There are (and will be) multiple levels with similar objectives. Find key items and escape. Simple really.
Controls:

| G | Drop (items that you can hold) |

Seems interesting.
I'm not one for pixelization but here I think it adds to the horror element well, compared to other games that seem to over-do it.
Sound design is also well made. Not too in your face but at the same time not too quiet or nonexistent.
My only complaints seem to be the time limit and flashlight. The time limit seems a bit pointless. Why is it there? It just creates urgency without a purpose other than "find x in y time". It should have a reason for existing (see chekhovs gun)
The flashlight should at least have a cooldown before it could be used again. The game is literally unplayable without it.
Also, making it so that the level resets instead of booting you to the main menu when the monster catches you would be appreciated.
Aside from that, I think it's a cool game/demo/whatever.
